How much is shipping?

Shipping is free to United States addresses and a flat rate of $20 to international addresses. United States shipments are shipped USPS First Class. International shipments are sent via USPS Priority Mail. FedEx shipping is available for an additional charge. You can select your preferred shipping method during checkout.

I'm an international customer and my order has not been received yet. Where is it?

If you selected USPS (Postal Service) as your shipping method, tracking information is limited. If your tracking number shows the status "ELECTRONIC SHIPPING INFO RECEIVED", it means your order has been shipped and was scanned at the originating postal office here in Wichita, Kansas. Any scans beyond that point are rare so it is impossible to determine where the shipment is. Total delivery time will vary greatly on your local country's customs process and mail delivery system. Please allow up to 5 weeks for delivery when using USPS (Postal Service) as your shipping method. If you are in dire need of a LENSKIRT, FedEx is the best shipping option to use.

Do you have a reseller in the United Kingdom?

I can't get PayPal checkout to work. What can I do?

If you are paying by credit card, try clicking the blue "Proceed to checkout" button instead of the yellow "Checkout with PayPal" button. This will take you through the standard, secure checkout page bypassing PayPal Checkout all together.

What's the widest lens I can use?

The LENSKIRT has been tested as wide as a 15mm lens on a Canon 5DmkII (full frame sensor). When using lenses this wide, you must keep the lens very close to the glass as to not capture the edges of the LENSKIRT.

How big of a lens can I use with a LENSKIRT?

The LENSKIRT will open up to approximately 8in (20cm) in diameter. It will fit over most telephoto lenses even with a lens hood attached.

Does the LENSKIRT fold?

Yes. The LENSKIRT can be folded for easy storage/transport. It will slip into a pocket of a camera bag easily when folded.

How long will the LENSKIRT stick to a window?

When beta testing the LENSKIRT, we had one stuck to a window for 4 weeks with no signs of coming loose. We removed it from the window ourselves. It did not fail. In theory, on a clean piece of glass with clean suction cups, the LENSKIRT should stay attached indefinitely.

Should I moisten the suction cups before attaching the LENSKIRT?

For best results, assure the glass and suction cups you are attaching to each other are clean and free of dust. You do not need to moisten the suction cups. As long as both surfaces are clean, the cups will stick properly. When applying the suction cup, press hard in the middle as to squeeze all of the air out. This will yield the strongest hold.

Is there a warranty?

The LENSKIRT is guaranteed free of manufacturing defects. We offer a 30 day return policy and we will also replace any unit that may have a manufacturing defect. We hand check each LENSKIRT before shipping to assure quality. We realize, however, that we may occasionally miss something. Hopefully not but if we do, we will certainly exchange it for you.

What is your returns policy?

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Where do you ship to?

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
